Dear nursing professors and students

We are honoured to welcome you to the PrevInf International Event, themed "Supporting Asian Nurses, Nurse Educators, and Nursing Students in Healthcare-Associated Infections Prevention and Control”.

Following the success of our previous in-person events in Hai Duong (Vietnam), we are now launching the 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th editions of the event online. Our goal is to encourage global cooperation in this field and share the findings of the PrevInf Project.

With the aim of advancing the highest standards of nursing practices in the prevention and management of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and antimicrobial stewardship, the PrevInf Project is dedicated to enhancing the competencies of nursing students in Asia. During this International Event, delegates from each partner Higher Education Institution in Asia will share their experiences in the project's development and present project outputs, such as the PrevInf Pedagogical Model and the PrevInf E-Book for nursing educators and students.

We are pleased to announce our partnership with the Phi Xi Chapter of The Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing! Our shared objective is to host an engaging and productive event, offering you the opportunity for in-depth reflection and discussion on the challenges and emerging opportunities in the teaching and learning of healthcare-associated infections prevention and control within undergraduate and postgraduate nursing curricula worldwide.
